Most beautiful mountain ranges in the Brooks Range with a cozy hotel and a nice restaurant. This is possibly the worst camp in Alaska. The camp is poorly maintained and the toilets and showers are not maintained. This trip the toilets were not clean and apparently had not been cleaned in quite a while. The showers floors were full of gravel as if someone had cleaned their boots in them - true for both showers. Ladies showers not much better. The toilet drain froze that night so you can imagine the problems that created. I have periodically stayed at this camp over the years and I would say that this last stay (Feb 2016) was about the worst I've experienced. At $200 a night you should get more than a new TV. Best thing that could happen to it is a fire - but only if it takes the whole facility out.
